Job summary

Bally's Interactive is seeking a diligent facilities maintenance professional in Baton Rouge to ensure the upkeep of hotel assets and guest areas. You will perform mid-level to advanced painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry, while preserving safety and cleanliness throughout the property.

You will also respond to maintenance deficiencies, manage preventative schedules, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform mid-level to advanced painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Knowledge of HVAC, alarm systems and generators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities on property and the property itself. Identify deficiencies related to maintenance of such facilities.
• Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
• Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. Identify and diagnose deficiencies with the system and take measures to correct deficiencies.
• Identify the need for and perform Mid-level to advanced level Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property.
• Assist with creating Preventative maintenance schedule and follow such schedule.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
• This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
• Required to walk and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls;
• reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend; climb; and talk and hear. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. The team member may lift and/or move up to 250 pounds with assistance. The team member will
