Technician, Logistics & Supply Operations

Salary Range: $42,855.00 To $51,426.00 Annually

Position Summary

Technician supports GMP-compliant material handling activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials, consumables, and finished goods. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and company procedures while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and verify incoming raw materials and supplies against specifications.
  • Label and store materials in accordance with GMP guidelines, temperature requirements, and quarantine procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and issue materials to production and distribution areas while following strict documentation and traceability requirements.
  • Assist in routine inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (as needed).
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization to ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.
  • Accurately document material transactions in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Skills & Abilities
  • Working knowledge of software such as MS Outlook, Excel and other MS Office products.
  • ERP experience preferred but not required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping is essential.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to wear protective clothing (goggles, face shield, surgical mask, cap, gloves and scrubs).
  • The employee may be exposed to biohazards.
Position Expertise/Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
  • 0‑2 years of experience in materials management, warehousing, or logistics (preferably in a GMP environment).
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and material handling within a regulated industry.
  • The ability to follow strict protocols, work in controlled environments (cleanrooms, cold storage), and handle sensitive materials.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
