Job summary

Commonwealth Sciences, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to coordinate daily material movement, receive and inspect shipments, and verify documentation against purchase orders.

The role supports inventory control through cycle counts and reconciliations and ensures proper labeling, storage, and distribution of materials. The candidate will collaborate with Operations and Quality Assurance to review and release incoming materials for use, while maintaining an orderly,

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day material movement activities, including receiving, shipping, storage, and internal distribution.
  • Process incoming deliveries, inspecting shipments for quantity, condition, and potential damage.
  • Review purchase orders, packing lists, and related documentation to ensure received materials match established requirements.
  • Assist with inventory control through routine cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and stock verification.
  • Properly identify, label, store, and distribute materials according to established procedures and operational requirements.
  • Keep warehouse and storage areas orderly, clean, and maintained in a state of readiness for internal and external inspections.
  • Work closely with Operations and Quality Assurance to verify that incoming materials are appropriately reviewed and released for use.
  • Complete additional material management and departmental activities as needed.

Education

Job description

Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, materials management, shipping/receiving, or inventory control; experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with cGMP material handling and storage practices, including the segregation and control of Quarantine, Released, and Rejected materials, preferred.
