Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC systems, and power generators. You will work to keep downtime to a minimum and uphold safety standards on busy job sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of diesel or heavy equipment experience, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities may be needed depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas).
• May need to provide tools of trade.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

This Technician role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment to avoid downtime. Our fleet primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Specialty line locations may have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.

Base Pay Range: $18.99 - $26.11
