Job summary

Job description

This role will handle incoming technical support calls or respond to requests to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve telecommunications, network, hardware, and software issues.

Support restaurant managers and franchise home IT staff to ensure smooth operations. The Help Desk manages software, hardware, and networking issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:
  1. Use a ticketing system to log and monitor support tickets;
  2. Monitor problem management software and support systems for outages and pending solutions;
  3. Collaborate with end-users and solution partners to resolve issues;
  4. Manage and complete project tickets for restaurants according to deadlines;
  5. Follow company policies, uphold professional standards, and perform all work professionally;
  6. This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the continental U.S.;
  7. Salary Range: $23+/hr depending on experience.
Skills & Requirements:
  1. Experience in planning and accomplishing goals in a fast-paced environment;
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  3. Ability to work well in a team and be highly self-motivated;
  4. Quick learner of new technologies;
  5. Provide help desk support for PC and peripheral setup, maintenance, and repair; independently resolve technical problems;
  6. In-depth knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2003/2008, and Microsoft Office;
  7. Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and TCP/IP;
  8. Associate degree or higher in a computer-related field;
  9. A+ Certification required;
  10. Additional certifications like Six Sigma or Project Management are a plus.
