Job summary

AllCom Global Services / STRANTECH is seeking a field technician for onsite installation of telecommunications infrastructure under SCA guidelines. You will perform end-to-end installation and testing with supervision.

Candidates should have 3–4 years in telecom installs, a high school diploma or equivalent, travel 100%, and ability to obtain DoD clearance. The role requires physical capability and pre-employment screenings. Compensation follows the applicable Wage Determination.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of telecommunication infrastructure installation experience.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Some level of job-related certification generally obtained for this level of knowledge and skill.
• Ability to travel out of town 100% of the time.
• Ability to secure and maintain Defense Department Security Clearance.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid drivers license.

SCA Position: This position is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). Compensation will be provided in accordance with the applicable Department of Labor Wage Determination, including required wages and fringe benefits.

Perform wide variety of activities associated with onsite installation of telecommunications infrastructure. Expected to rely on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish tasks. Works under general supervision and may provide limited direction or assistance to Technician I and II.
