Job summary

AllCom Global Services / STRANTECH in San Diego, CA seeks an onsite Telecommunications Infrastructure Installer. You will perform end-to-end system installation and testing under general supervision, with direction from Lead Technicians.

The role requires 3–4 years of telecom installation experience, a high school diploma, and a relevant certification. Travel 100% of the time; must hold a valid driver's license and be able to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of telecommunication infrastructure installation experience required.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Some level of job-related certification generally obtained for this level of knowledge and skill.
• Ability to travel out of town 100% of the time.
• Ability to secure and maintain Defense Department Security Clearance.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid drivers license.

SCA Position: This position is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). Compensation will be provided in accordance with the applicable Department of Labor Wage Determination, including required wages and fringe benefits.

JOB SUMMARY

Perform wide variety of activities associated with onsite installation of telecommunications infrastructure. Expected to rely on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish tasks. Works under general supervision and may provide limited direction or assistance to Technician I and II.

• Complete tasks required for end-to-end system installation and testing. Duties and responsibilities will vary based on project type, scope, duration and manpower assignments. Specific duties and responsibilities will also be dictated by the individual's level of knowledge and experience.

• Must be able to climb ladders up to 25 feet and work on lifts up to 40 feet
