Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the Monroe, LA shop. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered construction equipment, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role offers weekly pay and strong growth opportunities within a company that values its people. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and access to a basic tool set.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
• Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
• Must have the necessary basic tool set you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7AM - 4PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus

Position Requirements
