Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC is seeking a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic in the United States. The role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience with construction or rental equipment and strong diagnostic skills across diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and Tier 4 systems.

You will repair generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment, bring your own tools valued at roughly $10k, and maintain documentation using basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic with a construction equipment or equipment rental background
• Military experience welcome when it includes heavy equipment maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems
• Experience repairing construction equipment including generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment
• Must provide your own tools averaging $10,000+ in value
• Basic computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, and service documentation
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and a team-first mindset
• Stable work history preferred
