Job summary

Monogram-Food-Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain machinery including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production equipment. You will observe equipment in operation, diagnose issues, dismantle devices, replace worn parts, and test performance.

You must follow safety programs and wear required PPE, perform preventative maintenance across departments, and participate in ongoing company training. 18+ and high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old to work for Monogram Foods.
• Two years’ experience in manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to sounds to locate trouble.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Inspect parts and determine dimensional changes required.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance across all departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and PPE policies.
• Disassemble equipment, identify worn parts, replace and reassemble.

JOB PURPOSERepairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESObserve mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of troubleDismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective partsExamine form and texture of parts to detect imperfectionsInspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirementsAdjust functional parts of devices and control instrumentsRepair or replace defective partsInstall special functional and structural parts in devicesLubricate and clean partsStart devices to test their performanceRepair electrical equipmentPerform preventative maintenance throughout all departmentsEnsure facility and workplace activities are in compliance with applicable governmental and safety guidelines as directed by QA and Safety CoordinatorMust follow all safety-required programs including lock out tag outNotify parts department or Team Leader of needed partsAbility to perform duties both outside and inside in varying conditions including extreme heat, extreme cold and wet and/or humid, etc.Disassemble mechanical equipment, identify/worn parts, replace, reassemble, and testWork with enthusiasm and always carries tools when out in the production environmentClean tools and uses proper documentationMaintain adherence to company policies, safety standards and good manufacturing practicesMust wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as providedPerform other duties as required or directedTake all opportunities for company offered trainingEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEMust be 18 old to work for Monogram Foods.
