Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. is seeking a Technician II for the Disassembly and Paint Areas to support our Pennsylvania operations. The role focuses on pre-wash, disassembly, cleaning, evaluation for reuse, and preparation for paint while maintaining strict contamination controls.

The position requires good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with diesel/natural gas engines and powertrain components, plus basic Windows computer skills. Comprehensive benefits are offered across 29 locations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Windows-based computer environments.
• Ability to read maintenance paperwork and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Pre-wash and disassembly of components.
• Clean parts and evaluate for reuse.
• Prepare components for paint and perform painting tasks as assigned.
• Document work and maintain housekeeping per contamination controls.

Job description

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Technician II for Disassembly / Paint Areas.

Primary Responsibilities

• Possess good mechanical aptitude.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned work areas in compliance of contamination control guidelines.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain record keeping.
• Must have necessary hand tools to complete the work assigned.
• Must be familiar with a Windows-based computer environment.

Job scope includes, but is not limited to:

• Pre-wash
• Disassembly
• Cleaning parts
• Evaluation of parts for reuse
• Prep components for paint
• Paint
• Use of SIS 2.0 and DBS
• Components are not limited to specific make or model.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

A good mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of diesel/natural gas engines, power train components, hydraulic components and/or subcomponents is preferred.
