Job summary

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Rental Field Technician. This role supports our growing team of professionals with hands-on field service for earthmoving equipment.

You will operate, repair, and rebuild equipment, diagnose faults, and perform on-site air conditioning work as needed. A technical school background or equivalent experience is required, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and

Qualifications

• Field equipment maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and rebuilds in field environments.
• Laptop-based diagnostics with SIS/ET software usage.
• Safely assemble/disassemble components per manufacturer specs.
• Accurate service reports to complete work orders.
• Willingness to work overtime and maintain required toolset.
• Must meet DOT and CBE requirements for operating related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain earthmoving equipment in the field.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment independently.
• Provide on-site air conditioning repair and service as needed.
• Complete service reports and communicate details for work orders.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements (DOT/CBE).

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Rental Field Technician.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain all types of earthmoving equipment.
• The ability to independently and accurately diagnose and repair/rebuild inoperative or malfunctioning equipment is essential.
• This individual will also provide air conditioning repair and service on an as needed basis.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Independently and successfully maintain equipment, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain equipment in a field environment
• Utilize a laptop computer for information and diagnostic purposes with a demonstrated proficiency in S.I.S. and E.T
• Safely assemble and disassemble components and equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications
• Accurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders
• Work overtime as required
• Maintain tool requirements.

• Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching, listening, and speaking

• Must meet DOT regulatory & CBE requirements for operating CBE or related vehicles
• Must sign all documentation to meet DOT regulations and CBE requirements

Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience is required.
