Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Rental Field Technician to service and repair earthmoving equipment in the field across Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland.

You will diagnose, rebuild, and maintain equipment, perform air conditioning repairs as needed, and complete service reports. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, overtime flexibility, and DOT/CBE compliance.

Qualifications

• Maintain equipment in field environment and diagnose/repair.
• Use a laptop for information and diagnostics with SIS and ET.
• Safely assemble/disassemble components per manufacturer's specs.
• Accurately complete service reports and update work orders.
• Overtime may be required.
• Meet DOT regulatory & CBE requirements for operating equipment.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.

Job description

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Rental Field Technician .

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain all types of earthmoving equipment.
• The ability to independently and accurately diagnose and repair/rebuild inoperative or malfunctioning equipment is essential.
• This individual will also provide air conditioning repair and service on an as needed basis.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Independently and successfully maintain equipment, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain equipment in a field environment
• Utilize a laptop computer for information and diagnostic purposes with a demonstrated proficiency in S.I.S. and E.T
• Safely assemble and disassemble components and equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications
• Accurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders
• Work overtime as required
• Maintain tool requirements.

• Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching, listening, and speaking

• Must sign all documentation to meet DOT regulations and CBE requirements

Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience is required.
