Transdev North America, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician C to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across a variety of vehicles.

You will ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of our fleets while supporting senior mechanics and mentoring junior technicians. The role offers a starting pay of $32.26 per hour with progression to $34.32 as ASEs are earned, and benefits including vacation, sick leave, 401k, and company holidays.

Qualifications

• Gasoline light duty fleet experience preferred.
• ASE certifications required within the first 18 months from start date.
• Mechanic’s Tool Set.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot engine issues.
• Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on engine components, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge.
• Other duties as required.

As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• $32.26 - $34.32 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
• Starting pay $32.26 with progression to $34.32 with ASEs.

• Vacation : up to 14 days per year
