Job summary

Monogram Foods in Wilmington, MA, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for 3rd shift. You will maintain high-speed food equipment, perform PMs, and repair drives and motors while following GMP and HACCP standards.

The role requires reading technical manuals, using CMMS for work orders, and working in varied environments. English communication is essential; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Technical college education or equivalent 2 years' experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GMP and food safety standards.
• Work safely with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Equipment setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, PM work, overhaul and repair.
• Use shop tools: cutting, grinding, drill press, welding, and minimal machining.
• Perform work on electric motors and controls (if qualified).
• Use CMMS to manage work orders, document work, and order parts.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and prints.
• Work in varying conditions, indoors and outdoors, including extreme heat/cold.

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Wilmington MA - Wilmington, MA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $29.00 - $35.00Hourly, Job Shift: 3rd Shift, Position Overview: Maintains production equipment through routine repairs and PM execution. The equipment consists of automated high-speed industrial food manufacturing equipment, and the skills needed include good mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and working at pace. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.
• Ability to work safely with programs such as lockout/tagout (LOTO).
• Equipment setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance (PM) work, overhaul, and repair.
• Use of shop tools, including cutting, grinding, drill press, welding, and minimal machining.
• Perform work (if qualified) on electric motors and controls.
• Work with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to perform work orders, document work, and order parts.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and prints.
• Ability to perform duties outside and inside in varying conditions, including extreme heat, cold and wet, and/or humid conditions, etc. The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications: Education and Experience:
• High school diploma required.
• Technical college education or equivalent 2 years' experience in a manufacturing-related field preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

• Be knowledgeable of and follow the safety procedures as outlined by Monogram Foods.
• Be knowledgeable of your department's safe food handling practices, HACCP, and quality control procedures.
