Rutgers University Correctional Health Care seeks a Full Time Technician I for Southwoods State Prison in Bridgeton, NJ. The Technician I participates as a member of the clinical and administrative medical team at the Prison.
Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, obtaining specimens, and maintaining the EMR and supplies. Certification requirements include CMA/EMT/CNA with at least two years of related experience; CPR certification is required.

Among the duties for the position are:
Minimum Salary 21.040, Mid Range Salary 21.540, Maximum Salary 22.190

FLSA: Nonexempt. Grade: 137. Regional Campus: Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). Home Location Campus: Off Campus.
As a first responder must have the physical capacity to perform CPR for at least 10 minutes. Physically able to assist in lifting and rotating patients who are unable to ambulate (up to 50 pounds).
Must be approved by the Department of Corrections ( DOC ) and adhere to all DOC requirements.
