Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Machining Technician II to support rapid prototyping and expedited manufacturing. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CNC experience, and the ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
  • Perform machining, deburring, inspection, and documentation activities.
  • Troubleshoot basic machining and setup issues.
  • Support prototype and expedited production builds to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers on manufacturability and process improvements.
  • Maintain equipment, tooling, and work areas in accordance with safety, 5S, and TEOA standards.

Job Overview

The RRT Machining Technician II supports rapid prototyping and expedited manufacturing by setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce prototype and low-volume production components. This role works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality parts while meeting aggressive customer and development timelines.

Job Requirements
  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $65,600 - $93,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
