Job summary

Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino in Chandler, AZ is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain heating and refrigeration systems across the property and uphold the GILA WAY.

The role requires three years of HVAC experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid AZ driver’s license. You will perform scheduled maintenance, address emergencies, and document work orders while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains heating and refrigeration systems across the facility.

• Performs regular maintenance to sustain efficiency and warranties.
• Forecasts downtime and responds to emergencies to ensure guest comfort.
• Completes paperwork and training to stay current with tech and requirements.

Pay Rate: $23.48 per hour

This position is responsible for maintaining the proper operation of all heating and refrigeration systems throughout the enterprise, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Inspects, repairs and maintains all casino chillers, cooling towers, pumps, fluid coolers, walk-in and under counter freezers, deli and drink stations.
• Completes all regularly scheduled maintenance and heating and cooling units to maintain unit efficiency and manufacture warranties.
• Forecasts equipment downtime and takes appropriate actions to ensure guest and employee comfort.
• Repairs air conditioning and heating units including addressing emergency breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintains all required records and completes all necessary training to stay current on changing technology and requirements.
• Accurately completes all required paperwork and maintain equipment.
• Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

This position requires afive (5) year motor vehicle report to be submitted at the time of interview.

Skills/ Requirements

• High School Diploma orequivalentand HVAC certification required.
• Three (3) years of HVAC experience required.
• Must possess a valid AZ driver’s license with clean driving record within the past five (5) years.
• Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows: G reet our guest, I nteract positively with our guest, L isten actively to our guest, A ppreciate out guest.
• Must pass a pre-employmentdrug/alcohol test and agree to maintain a Drug-Free Workplace as a condition of employment.
• Must pass a full background check to be certified/licensed prior to employment.
