Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will make an impact by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all commercial equipment to support our stores. Responsibilities include developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs within the specified timeframe, and conducting training for Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment)
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, documenting work and expenses accurately

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean record

The hourly wage range is $19.00-$35.00, with potential premiums based on schedule, location, or work performed.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or material handling, or 5 years' experience in these trades. Valid driver's license and eligibility for CDL are required.

Preferred Qualifications...

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program, trade license, or proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
