Job summary

Samuel, Son & Co. in Riverside, CA seeks a foundry associate with experience in metal casting to join our manufacturing team. You will work with molten metal, maintain steady metal flow, and assist in pre and post-cast operations in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 2+ years in manufacturing, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of forklift driving; overtime and shift flexibility are needed. Competitive pay and health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• High school/Diploma.
• 1 year of forklift driving.
• Ability to carry 50 lbs., and lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Flexible to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations as per company policy.
• Work with Molten metal in foundry.
• Maintaining consistent metal flow to casting table throughout cast.
• Plugging and unplugging melting furnace.
• Help in all other pre and pro cast operations.
• Loading/unloading metal-logs in and out of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations as per company policy.
• Follow all work instructions and procedures.
• Work with Molten metal in foundry.
• Maintaining consistent metal flow to casting table throughout cast.
• Plugging and unplugging melting furnace.
• Help in all other pre and pro cast operations.

The pay for this position is $20.00 - $21.17. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience.
