Job summary

Samuel, Son & Co. is seeking a night-shift foundry operator in Riverside, CA. You will manage molten metal processes, maintain steady metal flow, and strictly follow safety rules to ensure quality casting.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, a high school diploma, forklift experience, and the ability to lift 50–70 lbs. Overtime and weekend work may be required; benefits include health, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and vacation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
  • High school/Diploma.
  • Flexible to work any shift and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
  • Experience in Metal casting/ Metal manufacturing/ Foundry preferred.
  • 1 year of forklift driving.
  • Ability to carry 50 lbs., and lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations per company policy.
  • Follow all work instructions and procedures.
  • Work with Molten metal in foundry.
  • Maintain consistent metal flow to casting table throughout cast.
  • Plugging and unplugging melting furnace.
  • Help in all other pre and pro cast operations.
  • Loading/unloading metal-logs in and out of the equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations as per company policy.
  • Follow all work instructions and procedures.
  • Work with Molten metal in foundry.
  • Maintaining consistent metal flow to casting table throughout cast.
  • Plugging and unplugging melting furnace.
  • Help in all other pre and pro cast operations.
  • Loading/unloading metal-logs in and out of the equipment.

The pay for this position is $20.00 - $21.17. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
