Qualifications

• Minimum two years Walmart store experience or one year material handling equipment experience.

Position Summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, Irrigation, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal exterior facility performance. This role involves operating heavy equipment, conducting seasonal maintenance, and responding to work orders while adhering to safety protocols. The technician will coordinate with management and partners to prioritize tasks, maintain equipment, and support facility sustainability initiatives. What You'll Do

• The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00**.
• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
• Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
• Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: 1 year’s experience in material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping/irrigation with plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience interpreting design drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Experience with water conservation practices.
• Proficiency in speaking and understanding Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).
