Job summary

Walmart in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Technician in Facility Services, Irrigation Exterior Services to maintain irrigation systems and outdoor areas. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with shifts that may include overnight hours.

You will troubleshoot components, operate equipment, and document work orders while supporting customers and colleagues. Experience with wiring, controllers, valves, and seasonal maintenance is valued.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in the landscaping/irrigation industry, including plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid, state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation components including wiring, controllers, valves, heads, rotors, lines, drip lines, and bubblers.
• Operate equipment for pressure testing, trenching, and pipe installation.
• Order irrigation supplies and parts; obtain quotes from external contractors when required.
• Assist in prioritizing upgrades and replacements of systems and equipment.
• Respond to work orders and communicate effectively across channels.
• Leverage phones, tablets, and laptops to complete work orders and maintain records.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies and reporting violations.
• Perform seasonal maintenance such as winterizing and spring startup of irrigation systems.
