  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification for handling refrigerants.
  • Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
  • No preventable accidents while operating a commercial vehicle in last 3 years.

The technician collaborates with management and facility partners to support operational efficiency, manages work assignments using digital tools, and participates in on-call rotations. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement is essential to support the reliable performance of HVAC and energy management systems across multiple locations.

What you'll do:

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and layout plans to ensure accurate system installation and troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in configuring and calibrating building automation systems, direct digital controls, and low-ambient HVAC applications.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities to resolve equipment and control system issues effectively.
  • Commitment to following OSHA standards, safety protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Proficient in documenting maintenance activities, inspections, parts usage accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with facility operators and team members
  • Capability to manage work assignments using digital tools and platforms

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or technical HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls.

Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling- equipment, or related trades.

Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.

Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.

Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for the handling and servicing of refrigerants. Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.

Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.

No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
