Job summary

Veritech in Aberdeen, MD is seeking an entry-level Technician/Assembler for a full-time, on-site role. Training is provided on all tools, processes, safety procedures, and job tasks to start a career in manufacturing.

You will assemble products to work instructions, use basic hand tools, inspect quality, and meet daily output while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 08:00–16:30 EST.

Qualifications

• No prior assembly experience is required; training is provided.
• High school diploma is required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are important.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions and training provided.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Report material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Work cooperatively with Team members and Supervisors.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Learn new tasks and cross-train in other assembly areas as needed.
• Complete company-sponsored training in J-STD-001 Certification soldering standards and earn certification.
• Other duties, as assigned

We are seeking a motivated and dependable entry-level or intermediate Technician/Assembler to join our Team. No prior assembly experience is required, but preferred. Preferred Qualifications:

• Current J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) certification
• Prior Class 3 Soldering Experience
• Previous electronic assembly/production experience

Travel:

• Up to 5.0% of Continental United States (CONUS) travel less

Clearance:

• No clearance required, but ability to obtain, if needed, is required
