Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technician - Electro-Mechanical to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of complex electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electronics, mechanical principles, and troubleshooting, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You will be expected to work with a variety of test equipment and hand tools to ensure the highest quality of our products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly and integration of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and calibration of electronic systems and components using specialized test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within electronic circuits and electro-mechanical assemblies, implementing effective solutions.
  • Execute electrical wiring and connect electronic components according to schematics and diagrams.
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for precise assembly and repair tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including test results and repair logs, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve design or manufacturing challenges.
  • Provide technical support and customer service when required, communicating technical information clearly.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to established procedures.
  • Inspect and verify the functionality of printed circuit boards and electronic components.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electro-mechanical principles and their application.
  • Thorough knowledge of electronic systems, including their operation and interdependencies.
  • Working knowledge of electronic components and their functions.
  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for complex electro-mechanical issues.
  • Working knowledge of test equipment, including oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools.
  • Working knowledge of soldering techniques for electronic components and printed circuit boards.
  • Working knowledge of electrical wiring practices and standards.
  • Working knowledge of calibration procedures for electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and precision instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.
  • A valid driver's license for potential site visits or equipment transport.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment as required by the role.
  • Experience with computer literacy and various software applications.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
