ProAmpac in Norfolk, NY, seeks an electrical maintenance professional responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment and fixtures in a 24/7 manufacturing facility.

The role requires experience with manufacturing equipment, strong electrical concepts knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while complying with safety regulations. On-call availability, including holidays and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program.
• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical concepts and safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate well and work with others.
• Willingness to be on call, including nights and weekends.
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Qualifications, Education, And Experience

• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program, journeyman license preferred
• Experience 2 to 4 years in a manufacturing environment with the same or similar equipment, components
• Extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one electricity.
• Solid working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and facility's electrical needs
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
• Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to be on call, including holidays, nights and weekends

Hourly wage range: $29.71-$33.95

ProAmpac's Norfolk, NY site is a 24/7 manufacturing facility producing rolls of specialty Kraft Paper from 100% recycled material.
