Technician - Cylinder Filler 1

Location: Fairless Hills, PA

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Technician - Cylinder Filler 1 to join our team!

Responsibilities (3rd Shift)

• Follow all Linde Safety Policies, including PPE, proper lifting techniques, and local safety requirements.
• Understand basic GMPs and Quality Control practices.
• Count incoming cylinders and verify lot numbers.
• Load/unload trucks daily.
• Inspect cylinders for surface defects and transport to designated areas.
• Recognize and separate defective cylinders.
• Clean cylinders and remove old labels.
• Operate forklifts safely to handle cylinders and warehouse stock.
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect valves and connect cylinders to manifolds for filling.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Inspect and replace labels as needed.
• Fill cylinders according to guidelines, weighing and testing for leaks.
• Operate equipment for gas pumping and reconditioning cylinders.
• Perform pre- and post-fill inspections and maintain records.
• Maintain cylinders and equipment in good condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform mathematical calculations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Computer skills
• Ability to read DOT and FDA paperwork
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Forklift training/experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors and in various temperatures
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• Flexibility for changing demands
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver weights up to 100 pounds
• Prolonged standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
