Technician - Cylinder Filler 1 (Finance)

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Technician - Cylinder Filler 1 to join our team at our Fairless Hills, PA location.

Responsibilities (3rd Shift):

• Follow all safety policies, including PPE, lifting techniques, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Understand GMPs and Quality Control practices.
• Count incoming cylinders and load/unload trucks daily.
• Verify lot numbers, examine cylinders for defects, and transport them accordingly.
• Identify and separate defective cylinders, clean cylinders, and replace labels as needed.
• Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and stock gathering.
• Follow procedures for handling, storing, and securing cylinders.
• Receive, document, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect valves and connect cylinders to manifolds, evacuate residual gas, and ensure proper operation.
• Calibrate and document equipment, inspect labels for compliance, and fill cylinders according to guidelines.
• Test for leaks, operate filling equipment, and perform pre- and post-fill inspections.
• Maintain cylinders and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks safely, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform necessary calculations and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Computer skills
• Ability to read DOT and FDA paperwork
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Motivated, high energy, and able to work outdoors in various temperatures
• Forklift certification/training preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver 100 pounds, and stand for extended periods
