Job summary

Leppo Rents in Florida is seeking a skilled Technician who can take equipment repairs from diagnosis through completion. You will work independently on multi-system issues, using service information and diagnostic software with confidence to return equipment to safe, rental-ready condition.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of technician experience, hands-on experience with gasoline, diesel, natural gas and/or electrical equipment, and a strong ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs

• Experience with gasoline, diesel, natural gas and/or electrical equipment.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system problems and perform repairs independently.
• Clear communication and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, driveline and differentials, suspension, brakes, air systems, HVAC, fuel and emissions systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems using computer-based diagnostics, OEM information, tools and service literature.
• Complete jobs from start to finish, including repair planning, parts identification, testing and accurate work-order documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, greasing and fluid checks to keep equipment dependable and rental ready.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow company procedures, safety standards and PPE requirements.

What You Will Work On

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Three to five years of related technician experience is typical for this level. Relevant technical or trade-school training may also support your qualifications.
• Hands-on experience with gasoline, diesel, natural gas and/or electrical equipment.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system problems and complete most repairs independently, with support available for advanced escalations.
• Comfort using vehicles, tools, manuals, service portals and diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma, GED, technical school or trade-school background, plus an acceptable driving record.
• Clear communication, dependable attendance and a team-first approach in a fast-paced service environment.
