Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Construction Equipment Technician in Ohio to repair and maintain a full line of construction equipment, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.

You will read electrical and hydraulic schematics, create detailed repair scopes, and collaborate with Service and Parts teams. A CDL A license or ability to obtain one is required, along with strong communication and safety focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction equipment repair experience.
• 3-5 years as a preventative maintenance technician preferred.
• Ability to read OEM specifications and schematics.
• Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities.
• CDL A license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a full line of equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot minor to major issues.
• Read electrical/hydraulic schematics and service diagrams.
• Build repair scopes for quoting and maintain safety standards.
• Work with Service and Parts teams and on-call rotation.
