At MacAllister Machinery, we provide top-quality service and repair for equipment. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Compact Tractor-Landscape Technician to join our team.

Position Summary

This position will perform mechanical services on compact tractors and landscape/turf equipment, including troubleshooting, repairing, and inspection.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair compact tractors and landscape/turf equipment, with emphasis on small engines
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts charged and returned
• Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met
• Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure equipment and parts areas are in excellent, safe operating condition
• Adhere to all safety rules and maintain quality housekeeping in shop area
• Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, prevent accidents, and damage to personnel and equipment

No formal supervisory responsibilities.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years or more of experience with small engines, landscape equipment

Preferred

• Kubota/Exmark certified or equivalent
• 4 years or more experience with Kubota/Exmark equipment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
