Job summary

StandardAero is seeking an experienced CMM/CNC Operator in Kansas City to set up and run precision measurement processes. You will read blueprints, create setup sheets, and verify tooling tolerances against specifications.

Strong calibration and machine maintenance skills are required for accurate, repeatable results. The role emphasizes meticulous inspection, data output, and continuous attention to measurement integrity.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' CNC or CMM programming experience
  • 2+ years' experience with routine calibration and maintenance on machines
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident required

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CMM and equipment to make complex and precise measurements of components, tooling, and fixtures
  • Read and interpret specification manuals, blueprints and templates for product specification such as tooling instructions, tolerances and dimensions
  • Create setup sheets and documents
  • Read and interpret measurements, output data and element graphic data
  • Analyze final product, checking validity of output to specifications required in blueprints and technical manuals
  • Recognize and identify final output accuracy and identify when the final product is inaccurate
  • Maintain CMM machines to include probe qualification and regular cleaning

What You’ll Do

Basic Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $29.21 - $39.62. The compensation package for this position also includes a performance-based cash incentive. Actual pay will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
