Job summary

StandardAero in Hillsboro, OH is seeking a skilled CMM inspector to join our aviation quality team. You will set up and operate CMM equipment to measure components, read blueprints, and verify tolerances per specifications.

We require at least 2 years of calibration and inspection experience, and you must be a US citizen or permanent resident. Shifts available: 2nd and 3rd. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a performance-based incentive.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen/Permanent resident
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with routine calibration and maintenance on machines
• Minimum 2 years’ of prior inspection experience

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CMM and equipment to make complex and precise measurements of components, tooling, and fixtures
• Read and interpret specification manuals, blueprints and templates for product specification such as tooling instructions, tolerances and dimensions
• Create set up sheets and documents
• Read and interpret measurements, output data and element graphic data
• Analyze final product, checking validity of output to specifications required in blueprints and technical manuals
• Recognize and identify final output accuracy and identify when the final product is inaccurate
• Maintain CMM machines to include probe qualification and regular cleaning

What You’ll Do

The pay range for this position is $26.41 - $39.62. The compensation package for this position also includes a performance-based cash incentive. Actual pay will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
