Responsible for assisting with the scheduling, staffing, and operational aspects of the CT section in the department. Performs CT exams and provides guidance to CT technological staff to ensure a high quality of work. Assists in the orientation and training of newly hired CT staff. Utilizes a variety of equipment including CT scanners, power injectors, computers, and software programs to enter patient-related information into hospital databases. Contributes to overall excellence of the department through a commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skill.
Work requires a high school diploma. Requires completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and a minimum of three years of CT experience. ARRT certification required. State of New Jersey licensure required. Requires analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth experience-based knowledge. Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
