St. Joseph's Health is looking for a Radiologic Technologist in Clifton, NJ. This role involves conducting routine examinations in both inpatient and outpatient environments, adhering to strict protocols for safety and image quality. The ideal candidate must possess relevant qualifications and be able to explain procedures to patients and their families.

Responsible for performing routine exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting in accordance with established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. The inpatient setting may also include assignment to specialty areas requiring a radiologic technologist, such as the ED, OR, or Fluoroscopy. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including scanners, power injectors, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.
Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and ARRT registration (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Registration) or RDMS registration (Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registration) or CCI certificate (Cardiovascular Credentialing International Certificate) in each appropriate work‑related modality, to be obtained within twelve months of hire.
State of New Jersey licensure in Radiology technology as appropriate is required.
Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth experience‑based knowledge.
Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.
(Full‑time and Part‑time Employees‑over 20 hours a week)

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
