Baptist in Southaven, MS, seeks a Cardiovascular Technology professional to assist in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures, supporting interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
The role requires an accredited cardiovascular technology associate degree, BLS within 14 days of hire, ACLS within 6 months, and RCIS/RCES certification within one year of eligibility. Strong commitment to safety and documentation is essential.
Staff work 4 ten-hour shifts per week, take 12-14 call shifts per 6 week schedule, closed on holidays and weekends, only schedule 1 call crew to cover holidays and weekends, and holidays are rotated between staff.
Assists in cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath and EP Lab by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring under the supervision of the performing interventional cardiologist or electrophysiologist. Provides technical support in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disease.
