Job summary

Prince Telecom LLC is hiring a Cable Installation Technician to safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses. You will ensure understanding and agreement with customers while educating them on product usage.

The role requires reliability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Training is provided, and the company emphasizes a safety-first culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
