Job summary

Prince Telecom LLC is seeking a Cable Installation Technician to safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses. This role offers weekly pay and a strong benefits package.

Expect opportunities for overtime, travel, and on-call duties as needed, with a focus on high quality service and customer satisfaction. Prior cable installation experience is preferred and a valid US driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Explain services and obtain customer understanding and agreement
• Educate customers on product usage
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call/after-hours as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range for this role is $17.50-$25.50/hr.

What You’ll Do

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.

The wage range for Technician Cable Installation is $17.00 - $17.00.
