Job summary

Prince Telecom, LLC is seeking an entry-level Cable Installation Technician to safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses in Sumner, WA. This field position offers hands-on training and the chance to grow in a service-focused team.

You’ll work overtime and some travel, with weekly pay and strong benefits. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required to begin a rewarding career providing essential home

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous cable installation or related field experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot cable/video, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment at customer homes and businesses.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review requested services with customers to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate customers on product and service usage.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment; perform overtime, travel, and after-hours work as needed.

What you’ll do

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.

The wage range for Technician Cable Installation is$21.65 - $21.65.
