Summary: The Behavior Support Technician (BST) supports school staff during crisis situations related to student behavior and mental health issues. They conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), collaborate with staff on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and implement Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) strategies for students with disabilities.

Essential Duties:
  1. Provides one-on-one support to students in crisis using CPI strategies.
  2. Conducts FBAs.
  3. Collaborates with school staff during student crisis situations.
  4. Collects, analyzes, and assesses data related to student behavior.
  5. Participates with staff in developing BIPs.
  6. Monitors and provides feedback on BIP implementation.
  7. Performs related duties as assigned.
