Job summary

Porsche Greenville seeks an Automotive Technician to perform services and repairs with attention to safety and quality. You will complete inspections, record repair details, and ensure vehicles are returned clean after service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid US driver's license, with company-paid training and opportunities for certification. We offer competitive pay plus weekly bonus opportunities, relocation and signing bonuses (depending on skills), health

Qualifications

  • Basic communication, problem-solving, and mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • Current and valid driver's license and insurable under our garage-keepers policy.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Produce quality work that meets safety requirements and repair instructions.
  • Complete and record multi-point inspections and repair orders accurately.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned clean after service.
  • Maintain an inventory of normal mechanic’s tools.
  • Use tools and shop supplies in a practical and economical manner.
  • Communicate potential issues with Service Advisors and management to ensure best customer experience.
  • Report any safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Complete ongoing manufacturer and dealership training.

Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.Proactively communicate potential issues with Service Advisors, Parts Department, management, and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience and fix-it right the first time.Promptly report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.Complete required ongoing manufacturer and dealership training.*All associates should abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Employees must strictly adhere to all mandatory safety protocols and PPE requirements.
