Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Technician II to support large-scale data center and telecommunications structured cabling projects in Sterling, VA. The role involves installing, routing, terminating, labeling, and testing structured cabling, racks, patch panels, cross-connects, and related hardware.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and project documentation, performing continuity testing, troubleshooting cabling issues, and installing grounding for racks

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of telecommunications, low-voltage or structured cabling experience.
• Experience with copper cabling installation, termination, testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documentation.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Terminate jacks, 110/66 blocks and patch panels.
