Sammons Warehouse Solutions in Mobile, AL, is seeking a Service Technician II to diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment. You’ll work with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, and lifting mechanisms, performing preventative maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of forklift repair or related mechanical experience, and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, experience with precision measuring tools, and knowledge of material handling equipment. Certification on at least 65% of the Briggs Equipment product line is required.
• A customer-first attitude, clear communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork, safety, and doing quality work. Trade school training, Hyster-Yale certifications, and welding or fabrication experience are a plus.
• The ability to perform physical work, including frequent standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 75 pounds, along with providing your own tools.
