Job summary

Aggreko, LLC in the Los Angeles area seeks a Technician 1 Temp Control based at the Santa Fe Springs service center. This full-time role offers overtime potential and the chance to work on power generators, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting at the shop and at customer sites, using schematics and reading tonnage/KW requirements. A valid license and ability to lift 60–80 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading schematics.
• Based on customer requirements, you may need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based out of the Santa Fe Springs service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
