Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and related material handling equipment. You will work on-site with a safety-first mindset, performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic welding as needed.

Bring a high school diploma or GED with forklift experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license. On-site work in TX with opportunities for skill growth and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required with at least 1 year of forklift repair or related mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to customer service.

You'll be part of a team that values doing things the right way, helping each other succeed, and always putting safety first. ## What You’ll Do* Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and transmissions.* Perform equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, component repairs, and basic welding to keep equipment running safely and reliably.* Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, manage parts and supplies, and complete service documentation accurately and on time.* Deliver dependable customer service, participate in safety meetings, and continue building your technical skills through hands-on experience and training. ## What You’ll Bring* A high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of forklift repair or related mechanical experience, and a valid driver’s license.* Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.* Knowledge of material handling equipment and its systems, with certifications on at least 50% of the company’s product line.
