Job summary

Aerotek in Vancouver, WA is hiring an Assembly Technician - Control Panel Builder for a hands-on prototype environment. You will perform mechanical assembly, point-to-point electrical wiring, soldering, and harness work on new product builds.

Day shift, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday–Friday; this is a contract-to-hire onsite role. Experience reading schematics and working with power tools is valued, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced engineering consulting team.

Responsibilities

Assembly Technician - Control Panel Builder

$25.00-$30.00 per hour

Day Shift, 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Vancouver, WA

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly, point to point electrical wiring, soldering, wire harness assembly.
• Working in a prototype environment directly with schematics and drawings for new product builds.
• Candidates will be responsible for tasks such as harness assembly, soldering, box assembly, button-up, and final testing within the electrical assembly department.
• The role involves working extensively with harnesses and soldering, following schematics and diagrams, and performing some mechanical assembly.
• Ideal candidates have prior assembly experience, though individuals with minimal training may also be considered.

Qualifications

• Point to point wiring, experience with harnessing wires.
• Assembly experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience or familiarity with power screw drivers and hand tools required.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics or detailed work instructions at the very least.
• Prior testing and troubleshooting experience

Environment / Shift

• Fun, fast-paced engineering consulting company, currently experience explosive growth.
• Employees will be working in a standard lab/production environment.
• Day Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
