Job summary

MPW Industrial Services seeks a dependable Technician to support industrial water purification operations through equipment regeneration, testing, and on-site service. This hands-on role emphasizes quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in both shop and field environments.

You’ll perform integrity tests, log water quality data, troubleshoot issues, load and transport equipment safely, and maintain detailed service records while complying with PPE and environmental rules.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; prior industrial, mechanical, or water treatment experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and customer-focused mindset.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety.
  • Willingness to work in fast-paced, hands-on environments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Regenerate industrial water purification tanks according to procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform integrity testing on tanks, valves, and plumbing systems to ensure proper function.
  • Use monitoring equipment to measure and log water quality data accurately.
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and identify root causes affecting water quality.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation for testing and operations.
  • Load, unload, and transport equipment safely using forklifts and other tools (training provided).
  • Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE and environmental regulations.
  • Communicate status and issues to supervisors and teammates.
  • Support general shop operations, including cleaning and equipment readiness.
  • Perform additional duties to meet project needs.

We’re looking for a dependable Technician to support industrial water purification operations through equipment regeneration, testing, and on-site service. This role is hands-on and requires strong attention to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in both shop and field environments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Mechanical aptitude – Comfortable working with tanks, plumbing systems, and testing equipment with attention to detail

What You’ll Do

  • Support general shop operations, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment readiness
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs and customer requirements
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or GED required; prior industrial, mechanical, or water treatment experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, overtime, and extended shifts based on project demands
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting
