WOC Energy in Kentucky is seeking a field-based propane service/installation technician to install propane tanks and ensure safety and code compliance.
You will maintain equipment, document service orders, and support delivery operations as needed, while upholding high standards of reliability and customer service. The role requires a Class B CDL, ability to lift 75 lbs, and outdoor work in varying weather.
Every tank you install directly impacts how safely and reliably families, farms, and businesses heat their homes and run their operations. In this role, you’re not just completing service calls, you’re the face of WOC Energy in the field, ensuring customers can count on propane systems that are installed right the first time. Your work keeps communities running, especially when reliability matters most.
Within your first 90 days, you’ll be independently completing tank installations that meet all NFPA and local code requirements, accurately documenting your work, and supporting delivery operations when needed. You’ll know your territory, your equipment, and your customers and your manager will trust you to handle installations safely, professionally, and without constant oversight.
Hourly pay: $25–$35, based on experience
WOC Energy is built by people who take pride in doing things the right way; safely, reliably, and with respect for customers and teammates. We value practical experience, straight talk, and supporting one another in the field, especially when conditions aren’t easy.
