Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Technician to support precision aerospace assembly. You will perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly for production, prototype, and development units using a microscope to handle miniature components with high accuracy.

This 12-month assignment on 1st shift offers a 4/10 schedule in Niagara Falls, NY, with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, excellent visual acuity, and the ability to adapt to changing part

Role Details

• Location: Niagara Falls, NY
• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
• Duration: 12-month assignment

What You’ll Do

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an ISO or cleanroom environment
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certification
• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • SMT (Surface Mount Technology), rework, repair, assembly
  • PCB assembly and rework
  • Medical device assembly
  • Jewelry making or watch repair (micro-precision work)
